On January 31st, Xhapeland opened the doors to Wave by Wave. Guided by Luís, Mar Surfboards shaper, the young group had the opportunity to get to know all the phases involved in the production of a surfboard and the history behind it.
“I enjoyed the day, specially the factory and the story of the parallelepiped and the egg, that helped me understand the genesis of surfboards” said one of the participants, “and I liked Luís and the guy who paints the boards, I really liked his work,” added another one.
Small initiatives like this have a relevant impact on these kids. As such, we will keep facilitating them within our network and will do our best to keep inspiring through our culture.
