To take responsibility for the waste generated by the surf industry, Despomar launched a program focused on recycling solutions for neoprene – Despomar Upcycling. Through our stores (58 Surf, Ericeira Surf & Skate and Billabong Stores), we established drop off points across the country where anyone can drop their old wetsuit.
Thus, from 21st to 25th of june, month in which it is celebrated the World Ocean Day and the International Surfing Day, 58 Surf stores (Ericeira, Matosinhos and Peniche) will offer 20% discount on a new wetsuit to those who leave their old wetsuit to recycle.
With this campaign, the brand aims to further neoprene waste collection and to continue the product development process.
